Trio of events marks return to in-person meetings – Arthritis National Research Foundation

On March 18th & 19th, the Newkirk Alumni Center at the University of California, Irvine campus provided the space for current ANRF grant funded scholars, the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), members from the Board of Directors, industry partners and invited guests to return to something many hadn’t done in more than two years: meet in-person.
The annual SAB meeting convened on Friday, followed by a reception that evening and the Research Symposium on Saturday, where seven early-career researchers presented compelling ideas and research.
For most, it was the first time in more than two years they traveled to an academic event and presented research in-person to a room of seasoned researchers and peers. As with what became the new way of communication in the pandemic, most had been confined to giving presentations via sharing a screen and presenting to faces on zoom.
Listed below are the scholars, links to bios and the titles of the presentations given at the ANRF Research Symposium.
